HUSBAND AND WIFE DIED IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA----------------------------At Farhangpur village under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district, a man murdered his wife by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon. After the murder, he hanged himself to death. The incident caused a sensation in the village and surrounding areas. Upon receiving the information, Sadar SDPO-2 Ranjit Kumar Singh and Chandi Police Station in-charge Rakesh Roshan arrived at the scene and began investigating the case.

The FSL team also arrived at the scene and collected numerous evidence. Police conducted post-mortems on both bodies at Sadar Hospital. According to information, the deceased include Rajesh Gupta, a 34-year-old son, and his 29-year-old wife, Soni Devi, residents of Farhangpur village under Chandi police station.

Soni Devi's mother, Ranju Devi, said that she had come to her in-laws' house in Farhangpur on Thursday to vote in the assembly elections. When she spoke to her on her phone that night, she asked where her husband was. She said he had gone out and was cooking. She explained that they occasionally had domestic disputes, and her husband would beat them. On Friday morning, she received word that both had died.

Janaki Devi, the mother of the deceased, Rajesh Gupta, told "Khabare Aapki" that they both voted in the elections on Thursday. Afterward, he went to the market, where he bought jalebi, samosas, and Maggi. He fed them to his children and wife, and ate himself. Afterward, the couple cooked chicken together. Around 10 p.m., she took the two children to sleep in the new house, while her son and daughter-in-law remained in the old house.

In the morning, when she went back to the old house and knocked on the door of her room, she didn't answer. Family members climbed a ladder and opened the door, only to find them both lying dead. It is said that Rajesh Gupta first murdered his wife, Soni Devi, by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon. After that, she hanged herself from the ceiling fan and committed suicide.

Sadar SDPO-2 Ranjit Kumar Singh told 'Khabre Aapki' that the husband and wife had been fighting for a long time. Meanwhile, on Thursday night, Rajesh Gupta first killed his wife and then hanged himself from the ceiling fan. It is said that after this incident, the deceased Soni's two innocent children lost their parents. All the family members are in a bad state, crying.
