BUXAR----------------------------Negligence and indiscipline have become rampant in the education department. Due to long-standing serious allegations and disregard for departmental orders, Anil Kumar Rai, Head Clerk, Buxar District Education Officer (DEO) office, has been suspended with immediate effect. This action was taken by Regional Deputy Director of Education, Patna Division, Raj Kumar, on November 8th, on the instructions of the Director, Secondary Education Department, Bihar.

Negligence and indiscipline have become rampant in the education department. Due to long-standing serious allegations and disregard for departmental orders, Anil Kumar Rai, Head Clerk, Buxar District Education Officer (DEO) office, has been suspended with immediate effect. This action was taken by Regional Deputy Director of Education, Patna Division, Raj Kumar, on November 8th, on the instructions of the Director, Secondary Education Department, Bihar.

According to sources, Anil Rai faced several serious allegations related to irregularities in departmental work, misuse of his position, and indisciplined conduct. The department repeatedly sought written explanations from him, but he consistently evaded them. Finally, finding his response unsatisfactory, the department took strict action.

According to the office order, Mr. Rai's headquarters during the suspension period has been designated as the office of the District Education Officer, Kaimur. During this period, he will receive a subsistence allowance under the Bihar Government Servants (Regulations) 2005. Following the suspension, departmental proceedings will be initiated, and a separate charge sheet will be issued.

The Directorate has clarified that indiscipline, disobedience, or corruption will not be tolerated at any level in the Education Department. A copy of the suspension order has been sent to the District Education Officer, Buxar, the District Education Officer, Kaimur, the District Program Officer (Establishment), and the Treasury Officer, Buxar.

This action is being seen as a strong message towards accountability in the education department; now there will be no silence on negligence, but action will be the answer.
