ARA---------------------------Heavy rains have created havoc in Bihar including the capital Patna. Heavy waterlogging has occurred in cities of many districts of the state including Patna. Along with this, waterlogging is also being seen in hospitals of many cities. News of waterlogging is coming from Danapur, Bhojpur and Kaimur of Patna. Heavy rains have been occurring in many districts of Bihar including the capital Patna since night. Women suffering from waterlogging in New Colony located at Divisional Railway Headquarters Danapur became furious and reached the Divisional Railway Manager's office and sat at the main gate and protested. The women calmed down after ADRM met the women and assured them of immediate relief from the problem of waterlogging. People told that for the last five days, one feet of water has entered our quarters in New Colony. Due to which we are facing a lot of problems in living there..
They told that they are forced to live amidst the dirty water of the drain. The railway administration was informed about this but the problem of waterlogging still persists. Water entered the courtyard of the house, the rooms, the kitchen and the toilet. It has become difficult to cook food and go to the bathroom. Many problems have arisen including children going to school and office every day. Due to waterlogging, there is a fear of snakes, scorpions and other insects in the quarters. There is no one to listen. The officials are ignoring it after hearing it, due to which the colony has become completely submerged. If the railway administration had made arrangements for cleaning the drains and drainage in time, then this problem would not have happened today. Now we are facing serious problems. The water from the tank containing urine and feces is flowing into the houses. Due to which extreme odor and infection is spreading. Diseases are spreading rapidly among children and the elderly. Snakes and other aquatic animals are entering the houses. Due to which the safety of life and property is in danger. People say that the water level is continuously increasing, due to which the situation is getting worse day by day. Till now no concrete and immediate action has been taken by the railway administration. On the assurance of Rajiv Kumar, Railway Officer Infra, the women withdrew from the siege. Railway Commandant and RPF Inspector also reached there. East Central Railway Men's Congress Vice President Santosh Pandey has said that this situation has persisted due to lack of maintenance in the railway colony. Earlier there was a system of cleaning. Cleaning has not been done by the railway for many years.
Municipal Council President Sujit Kumar said that three motors have been installed by the Municipal Council. Cleaning was also done with JCB, still the water is not decreasing. Two motors of the railway have been installed, water is being removed by installing a total of five motors. Kiran Devi, Reena Devi, Pushpa Devi and Shweta Kumari were among others in this siege. Seeing this problem, people are leaving the quarters and going to another place.
People are facing a lot of problems due to waterlogging on the dilapidated road near Zero Mile, the main entrance of Ara city of Bhojpur district. It can be clearly seen in the pictures that there is a lot of waterlogging near the main road Zero Mile coming to the city. Due to waterlogging, thousands of people in the vicinity are facing a lot of trouble.
people are forced to come and go with the help of this dilapidated road. The elderly, women and children are facing the most trouble. Every day people are becoming victims of accidents. This area of Ikouna Panchayat of Udwant Nagar block of Sandesh Assembly constituency is far from development. Due to the construction of the road, the drain cannot be constructed. Due to which potholes have emerged on the road. Due to waterlogging, there is more than one feet of water on the road. People are forced to come and go through the same road.
Local people told that this waterlogging has been there for a long time and people are constantly becoming victims of accidents. Still it is not being constructed. The public representatives along with the administration are directly responsible for this. Because common and special people come and go through this road every day. People have not been able to get relief from waterlogging till now. There is a lot of resentment among the people regarding this. People are accusing the local public representatives of ignoring the area.

Dirty water from the drain has entered many rooms including the hospital premises, emergency ward of the trauma center, medicine counter, ticket counter. Patients and their relatives are forced to get treatment amidst this dirty water. Even the building of the trauma center has become dilapidated. Its false ceiling also broke and fell down amidst the heavy rain since this morning. It was a good thing that no one was present at that time, otherwise a big incident could have happened. At the same time, the hospital officials are saying that due to the slackness of the work of the drain being built on the roadside, the dirty water of the city drain is entering the hospital premises.

It has been raining since morning. We are providing our services amidst this dirty water.
Hospital Incharge doctor Vijay Kumar said that the construction of the drain on the roadside has been incomplete for a long time. As a result, the dirty water of the city drain starts accumulating inside the hospital premises after rain. This water has accumulated even today.
