PATNA----------------------------The grand inauguration of the Bihar Police Exhibition took place at the Public Relations Pavilion of the Sonepur Fair complex. Chief Guest DGP Vinay Kumar, citing the overwhelming majority won by the state government, said that this has further increased the responsibility of the government and the police administration.

He gave clear instructions that corruption of any kind must be eradicated at all costs, from the district to the police station level. He also emphasized that the behavior of police stations should be cordial and friendly towards the public, as the police's primary responsibility is to protect the public and maintain their trust.

The DGP explained that in many cases, he receives information about an incident before the public, which he immediately informs the Superintendents of the respective districts. He said that such circumstances demonstrate the need for the police to become more proactive, transparent, and sensitive at the grassroots level. As usual, the Crime Investigation Department (CID) organized a Bihar Police Exhibition at the historic Harihar Kshetra Sonepur Fair. Its purpose is to showcase the police's working style, achievements, and technological capabilities to the public. During the event, the CID also released a special video CD highlighting the achievements of the Bihar Police.

Criminal Investigation Department ADG Parasnath stated that this exhibition not only strengthens police-public cooperation but also increases awareness about law and order among youth. A large number of police officers, personnel, and citizens attended the event. The exhibition's many fascinating sections, including modern weapons, cybercrime investigation techniques, forensic science, and traffic management models, were a particular draw for the public.

CID ADG Parasnath welcomed all senior officers present on the stage, including DGP Vinay Kumar, Jitendra Gangwar, Jitendra Kumar, and Amit Jain, by presenting them with saplings. After this, the program was formally inaugurated by jointly lighting the lamp by senior officers of the police department.
