ARA-------------------------So the erosion affected family of the village says that the water has receded but everything including the house is gone. Now even the land is not left. In such a situation where should we go! Because the erosion and devastating flood of the river Ganga has changed the geography of the village itself.

Ganga is receding and has taken the house along with it, where should we go now. We are members of such a ward which is no longer on the earth. We are residents of such a village, which is no longer on the earth. Jawainiya village of Diara area was completely cut off and merged in the erosion of the river Ganga. After this the displaced families have taken shelter with their families on the Buxar-Koilwar embankment. But now the water of the river Ganga has started receding. But the displaced families of the village are not able to see their house anywhere. Therefore, the erosion affected family of the village says that the water has receded but everything including the house has been destroyed. Now there is no land left. In such a situation where should we go! Because the erosion and devastating flood of the Ganga river has changed the geography of the village. Now only the name of the village remains in the memories. The village is now only on the map.

Where is the village on the ground! These people pointing towards the water of the Ganga river tell that this was Jawainiya. Even small children insist that they should go to their homes, how long will they stay on the dam. But the elders of the house have no answer to this.

We are members of such a ward which is no longer on the earth. Because ward number four of the Panchayat's Jawainiya village has now been cut off and merged into the Ganga river.

Mukesh Chaudhary, Jawainiya said that the flood water is receding. The rest of us have no address. We are not even able to tell anyone what our address is!

Umesh Bean, Jawainiya said that everything, our house and yard has been submerged in the Ganga. Now there is no land to build a house. I am unable to understand for how long we will have to live on the dam.

Chhattu Chaudhary, Jawainiya said that now it is just a name, where is the village? The pain of the erosion victims cannot be expressed by them. The children say go to your homes, the flood water has receded now.
