ARA--------------------------Police has arrested four accused including the main accused in the murder case of farmer Shri Bhagwan Singh, resident of Bhedri village of Ayar police station area of Bhojpur. Apart from the country-made pistol used in the murder, four bullets have also been recovered. The arrested accused include Lallu Singh, the main accused of the murder, Prince Kumar and Ashok Kumar and Sanjeet Kumar alias Govind, residents of Srinagar village of the same police station area.

Among them, Ashok Kumar, Prince Kumar and Sanjeet Kumar alias Govind are accused of hiding weapons. All three have been arrested from Srinagar village on the information of the main accused Lallu Singh. Weapons and bullets have also been recovered from them. SP Raj issued a press statement on Monday and informed about the arrest of the four and the recovery of weapons.

Jagdishpur SDPO Rajesh Kumar Sharma said that Shri Bhagwan Singh and his brother Dadan Singh were shot in Bhedri village on Thursday night in a land dispute. Shri Bhagwan Singh died in that. In that case, a named FIR has been lodged against nine people including Lallu Singh. Taking immediate action after the incident, two accused were arrested. However, the main accused Lallu Singh and others were absconding.

On the instructions of the SP, raids were being conducted under the leadership of SHO Sudhir Kumar for their arrest. In the same sequence, the main accused Lallu Singh was arrested on Sunday night. During interrogation, he told that after the murder, the weapon was kept with some people of Srinagar village. On his information, a country-made pistol and four bullets used in the murder were recovered from a poultry farm located in Srinagar village.

Ashok Kumar, Prince Kumar, Sanjeet Kumar and Govind have been arrested on the charge of hiding the weapon from the spot. The SDPO said that the three arrested on the charge of hiding the weapon have been made non-primary accused in the murder case. Apart from that, an FIR has also been registered under the Arms Act. Raids are being conducted to arrest other accused.

Farmer Shri Bhagwan Singh and his brother Dadan Singh were shot on Thursday evening in Bhedri village. In that incident, Shri Bhagwan Singh was killed, while his brother was injured. In that case, on the statement of Shri Bhagwan Singh's son Ram Babu Singh, an FIR was lodged against nine people including his Gotiya Lallu Singh, his brother and wife.

In that, Ram Babu Singh had said that on Thursday he was irrigating his father's field. Then Lallu Singh arrived and started abusing him. When he refused, he fired at him with a country-made pistol with the intention of killing him, but he survived. After that, Lallu Singh shot his father.

His father fell on the ground after being shot in the chest. His uncle Dadan Singh came to intervene, but Lallu Singh's brother Chhathu Singh caught him and he was also shot by Santosh Singh. After that, on being challenged by Chhotu and Ankit, residents of Hadiyabad village, Lallu Singh's mother Meena Devi, wife Ravita Devi and Santosh Singh's wife Poonam Devi beat up his grandfather Hari Kishor Singh with sticks. Later everyone was taken to the hospital. There the doctors declared his father dead. His uncle is still undergoing treatment.
