BHABHUA------------------------Forest department team reached ward number 7 of Mohaniya town of the district on the information of an injured monkey lying on the roof, but failed to catch it even after hard work. The monkey went from one place to another and hid in the injured state, after which the forest department team had to return disappointed. Till the time of writing the news, the monkey was sitting quietly at one place, due to which there is concern among the local people about its safety. According to the information received, local people saw a monkey in injured state on a roof in ward number 7 of Mohaniya. Showing sympathy towards the monkey and fearing some untoward incident, people immediately informed the forest department about it. On receiving the information, three employees of the forest department reached the spot. Eyewitnesses told that the forest department team resorted to throwing nets and other measures to catch the monkey, but the clever monkey escaped from their clutches every time. During this time, the injured monkey kept jumping from one roof to another and finally hid in a place where it was difficult to reach. Even after hours of hard work, when the team could not control the monkey, they returned. It is worth noting that the terror of monkeys remains a common problem in many areas of Kaimur district. Monkeys often enter residential areas in search of food, which sometimes leads to a conflict between humans and monkeys. From time to time, the Forest Department has also been running a campaign to catch monkeys and leave them in the Kaimur hills. At present, the residents of Ward No. 7 are worried about the injured monkey. They fear that if the monkey is not treated on time, it may die. Also, there is a danger of the injured monkey becoming aggressive. The local people have appealed to the Forest Department to try again and rescue the monkey safely and get it treated.
