Due to the sudden demise of senior player Amarnath Singh, a virtual condolence meeting was held today under the aegis of District Football Association Bhojpur under the chairmanship of the association's president Ram Murti Prasad. Association secretary Ravindra Kumar said that Amar Singh breathed his last at his residence Majhonwa on 5/9/2025 at around 11 pm. He was ill for a few months.

ARA--------------------------Due to the sudden demise of senior player Amarnath Singh, a virtual condolence meeting was held today under the aegis of District Football Association Bhojpur under the chairmanship of the association's president Ram Murti Prasad. Association secretary Ravindra Kumar said that Amar Singh breathed his last at his residence Majhonwa on 5/9/2025 at around 11 pm. He was ill for a few months.
He had represented the national football tournament from a university to a state level football player. He was currently the general secretary of Shahabad Heroes Club Ara, patron of District Football Association Bhojpur, Ara. He used to take part in making any football or sports event successful. His life was in sports, he always kept encouraging new players. The sports world has suffered an irreparable loss due to his absence.
At the end of the condolence meeting, two minutes of silence was observed and God was prayed to give a place to this great sporting soul in his feet and give the family and sports lovers the strength to bear the grief in this hour of sorrow.
