The accident occurred at midnight in Panapur village, Danapur, adjacent to the capital Patna.
This village is located in the Patna-Saran Diara area. The deceased were identified as Bablu Khan (35), his wife Roshan Khatoon (30), daughters Rusar (12), Chandni (2), and son Mohammad Chand (10). People nearby were awakened by a loud noise and realized that Bablu Khan's entire roof had collapsed. They feared the family was trapped under it. After considerable effort, the debris was removed. Only then were the bodies of the victims pulled out.
