ARA-------------------------The first inter-school softball cricket competition is organized at Veer Kunwar Singh Stadium. In which 16 schools of Bhojpur district have participated. Today the match was played between Sambhavna Residential School vs Gyan Jyoti Residential School. The match was inaugurated by Bhojpur District Softball Cricket Association Secretary Kundan Raj Singh after introducing the players. Sambhavna Residential School won the toss and decided to field first. In the scheduled 10-over match, Gyan Jyoti made 123 runs by losing 10 wickets.

While batting on behalf of Gyan Jyoti Residential School. Naman contributed 64 runs, Ankit 20 runs, Varun and Ayush contributed 5 runs each. While bowling, Captain Nilesh took the maximum 5 wickets for Sambhavna Residential School, Rishu took 2 wickets, Sumit took 2 wickets and Ayush took 1 wicket. Chasing the target, Sambhavna Residential School was able to make 122 runs by losing 10 wickets. While batting on behalf of Sambhavna Residential School. Ayan contributed 35 runs, Vishal 18 runs, Rishu 19 runs, Aditya contributed 12 runs. In a thrilling match, Gyan Jyoti defeated Sambhavna Residential School by one run. For his excellent performance, Naman was honored with Man of the Match memento by Niraj Kumar Singh, International Archery Coach. The judges of this match were Mohit Singh in the role of Aryan and Harsh School. On this occasion, Rajveer Pandey, Kundan Raj Singh, Amar Kumar Nilesh Nikhil were present.
