ARA-----------------------------The mystery of Gopal Khemka murder case, a famous businessman in Bihar's capital Patna, is now slowly getting solved. The activism of police and special teams has brought a big twist in this case. On Monday, SIT and STF team killed notorious criminal Vikas alias Raja in an encounter near Damaria Ghat in Malsalami police station area of Patna City.
Who was Vikas alias Raja?: Vikas alias Raja was a vicious criminal, who was involved in organized crimes like manufacturing and selling illegal weapons for a long time. According to police sources, Umesh Yadav, who was directly involved in the murder of Gopal Khemka, had bought the weapon from this Vikas, with which Khemka was killed.
How did the encounter happen?: As soon as the police team raided near Damaria Ghat, Vikas started firing indiscriminately at the police. The police also immediately took charge and retaliated. Vikas was killed within a few minutes. Police have recovered a pistol and a shell from the encounter site.
Clear message of the government and law: After this encounter, it has become clear that the policy of the Bihar government, especially Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, is not to spare criminals at any cost. In recent times, questions were being raised about the sudden increase in murders and criminal incidents in the state, and it was also said that all this is a well-planned conspiracy to defame the Nitish government.
But this action proved that the government and the police administration are fully alert. Not only are the criminals being tracked, but their network is also being dismantled.
Political conspiracy foiled: As the election season in Bihar is approaching, crime incidents are increasing. Some political conspiracies were also being suspected behind these incidents - so that Nitish Kumar's image of good governance could be tarnished. But the swift action of the government and the police made it clear that the rule of law has not weakened, but every challenge is being answered within the ambit of the law.
This encounter in the Gopal Khemka murder case is not only a big police action, but it is a strong blow to the crime machinery that was trying to challenge the law and order in the state. Nitish Kumar's government has once again shown that Bihar is not going to return to the old times, where criminals roamed freely and governments remained silent. "Whoever commits a crime will be reduced to dust" - this is not just a statement, it is the new reality of Bihar.
