BHABHUA----------------------The round of allegations and counter-allegations is going on on the question of shifting the Eklavya Residential Wrestling Training Center and Kaimur Gymnasium located in Bichhiya under the local block area to Mahuar in Ramgarh block in the letter of the Director-in-Charge of Bihar State Sports Authority. Ramgarh MLA Ashok Kumar Singh, while holding a press conference at Shatrughan Plus Two School Kalyanpur of the block on Sunday, said that there should be no politics with development. The allegation leveled by the BSP leader against me is completely baseless and fabricated. He said that we had raised the matter in the House in 2018 to modernize the gymnasium. This gymnasium was run by Shatrughan Plus Two School Kalyanpur. The enrolled students, headmaster and local people told us that the students have to walk two to three kilometers daily. The college has enough land. When we tried, they started doing politics of opposition instead of development. We are never in favor of removing the gymnasium. We had taken the initiative for its expansion. The gymnasium will remain in Bichhiya. We had taken initiative to develop its infrastructure. Even today we stand by our demand. The state government has provided infrastructure and sports equipment worth crores of rupees to the gymnasium to promote sports activities.
