-The process of obtaining a driving license (DL) in Bihar is now going to be even faster and more convenient. The Transport Department has taken a major decision and issued instructions that eligible applicants who pass the DL test will be issued a chip-less laminated driving license within just 24 hours. This will free people from long waits and aims to eliminate inconvenience.

The Transport Department has taken a major decision and issued instructions that eligible applicants who pass the DL test will be issued a chip-less laminated driving license within just 24 hours. This will free people from long waits and aims to eliminate inconvenience.
Transport and Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar gave this instruction during a review of the department's functioning. He said that the concerned agency was taking one to ten days to issue the DL, which was causing considerable trouble to the applicants.
