ARA--------------------------A meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (Disha) was held in the Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of the Member of Parliament, Shri Sudama Prasad. The meeting reviewed the major schemes of the district and issued several important directives.
The MP directed that:In view of the upcoming festivals, cleanliness should be ensured in all municipal bodies and rural areas, including the Ara Municipal Corporation, before Navratri. Dilapidated roads should be repaired promptly. The drainage system in the Ara Municipal Corporation area should be improved and defunct streetlights should be repaired. A statement of the funds allocated to all departments and expenditures for the financial year 2024-25 should be made available. Faulty transformers in the district should be replaced. The ICU at Sadar Hospital should be made operational soon and the problem of waterlogging in the hospital premises should be resolved. The meeting also demanded that all departments provide timely compliance reports on the points raised in the meeting.
On this occasion, MLAs Amarendra Pratap Singh (Ara), Ram Vishun Singh (Jagdishpur), District Magistrate Bhojpur Tanay Sultania, Deputy Development Commissioner Gunjan Singh, all Block Heads, City Presidents, City Commissioner, Civil Surgeon, district level officials, and other relevant officials were present.
