College, Dumraon, in a dignified and inspiring atmosphere. The program was led by the college's first principal, Prof. Veena

Kumari, who offered flowers and prayers at the statue of Dharikshana Kunwari and called upon everyone to imbibe her life values. On this occasion, Prof. Veena Kumari said that Dharikshana Kunwari was not only a philanthropic woman but also a strong symbol of education

and patriotism.

Through her donations, she laid the foundation of schools, colleges, and hospitals, and also contributed to the country's freedom movement by donating her bangles to Mahatma Gandhi. The principal said that D.K. College itself is a living legacy of her ideals, which teachers and students should together nurture and carry forward. She also suggested that Dharikshana Kunwari's birth anniversary should also be celebrated on a large scale so that the new generation can draw inspiration from her life.

The death anniversary ceremony saw the notable presence of the college family, as well as educationists and social workers. Former Principal Dr. Arvind Kumar Singh, Dr. Raju Mochi, Senate member Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh, and many other professors shared their thoughts, stating that the life of Dharikshana Kunwari is a guiding light for today's society. Non-teaching staff also actively participated in the program. Everyone unanimously resolved that the tradition of charity, education, and service, which Dharikshana Kunwari established, would be carried forward strongly to future generations.
