DEO FLAGGED OFF THE VOTER AWARENESS RATH

ARA----------------------District Election Officer-cum-District Magistrate, Bhojpur Tanay Sultania flagged off the "Voter Awareness Rath" from the Collectorate premises to spread awareness among eligible citizens regarding filing of claims/objections under the Special Intensive Revision Program. This awareness chariot will visit various blocks, panchayats, markets, haats, squares etc. under all the assembly constituencies of the district and provide information related to the claim/objection process to the common citizens, so that more and more eligible citizens can get their names registered in the electoral list or get the necessary amendments done. It is worth noting that the draft electoral list has been published on 01 August 2025, on which the last date for filing claims/objections is fixed as 01 September 2025. Eligible citizens based on the eligibility date of 01 July 2025 can submit their application for registration, deletion and amendment in the prescribed form along with the required documents to the BLO, Assistant Electoral Registration Officer or Electoral Registration Officer's office, concerned block office or special camps organized at municipal body offices. Apart from this, citizens can also apply online through the Voter Service Portal of the Election Commission of India (https://voters.eci.gov.in). All claims and objections received within the stipulated period will be disposed of by the concerned Electoral Registration Officer by 25 September 2025. After this, the final publication of the electoral list will be done on 30 September 2025 as per the schedule set by the Election Commission of India.
