CPI-ML ACCUSES ARA BJP MLA OF VOTE THEFT

ARA--------------------------Allegations of vote theft against BJP MLA: CPI(ML) (Mahagathbandhan) objects to removal of names of 220 poor Musahar voters.

Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation (CPI(ML)) state committee member Qayamuddin Ansari has issued a press statement and leveled serious allegations against Ara BJP MLA Amarendra Pratap Singh. He said that the MLA has used his letter pad and submitted a fake and illegal application to transfer the names of 220 Musahar community voters from Ara assembly constituency to Sandesh assembly constituency.

CPI(ML) leader Qayamuddin Ansari called it a “disgusting act of vote theft by the BJP”. He said that the MLA has taken this wrong step out of fear of the growing strength of the Mahagathbandhan. He said that all these voters are permanent residents of booth numbers 368 and 369 of Ara assembly constituency.

CPI(ML) leader Qayamuddin Ansari has lodged an objection against this fake transfer letter in the confidential branch of the District Officer of Bhojpur. He has demanded from the district administration that the applications given by all the parties and people for removing or transferring names from the voter list should be made public.

Also, he has demanded strict action against BJP MLA Amarendra Pratap Singh for making false allegations.

Ansari said, "BJP's application to remove the names of the poor from the voter list on the last day of filing objections is a direct case of vote theft." He has appealed to the district administration to immediately stop such efforts. Qayamuddin Ansari has appealed to all the voters of Ara assembly to support him in the "ongoing fight against vote thieves".
