Chief Minister of the state Nitish Kumar laid the foundation stone, started the work and inaugurated 432 developmental schemes worth more than Rs 740 crore from the program venue organized at Bihiya Chowrasta in Bhojpur district. Under this, widening work of 4 lanes to 6 lanes of Ara-Buxar Fourlane (NH-922) via Chapra Babura Path at a cost of Rs 105 crore 16 lakh.

Widening work of path from Zero Mile to Patar at a cost of Rs 33 crore 89 lakh, construction work of outfall drain, sump house and new alignment from New Police Line to MP Bagh Nala turn under Storm Water Drainage System at a cost of Rs 87 crore.

This includes road construction work on the canal dam from Chandwa via Gangi to Dharhara at a cost of Rs 31 crore 30 lakh, road construction work on the canal dam from Sandesh via Akhgaon to Koilwar at a cost of Rs 18 crore 43 lakh, road widening work from Vampali via Chandwa turn to Pakri Chowk at a cost of Rs 53 crore 94 lakh. Along with this, construction work of bypass from Ojhavaliya Bridge to Bachri Bridge at the cost of Rs 27 crore 87 lakh, road widening work from Ara Railway Station to Judge Kothi Mor at the cost of Rs 14 crore 11 lakh, road widening work from Aranya Devi Temple (Ara) to Ara-Aksar four lane path (Bhaya Ara-Sinha and Ara-Barhara) at the cost of Rs 37 crore 19 lakh, road widening work from Bihiya Chowrasta to NH 922 at the cost of Rs 18 crore 43 lakh and development work of Surya Mandir complex in village Dev of Tarari under Bhojpur district at the cost of Rs 14 crore are included.
