CHIEF SECRETARY LAUNCHES PORTAL AND MOBILE APP OF SEVERAL IMPORTANT SCHEMES

PATNA----------------------Under the aegis of Bihar Administrative Reforms Mission Society (BPSMS), several important schemes, portals and mobile apps were launched today by the Chief Secretary of the State Government, Amrit Lal Meena, with the aim of making citizen service delivery more transparent, effective and digital.

On this occasion, a new facility under the “Bihar Right to Public Services Act, 2011” – Online Appeal and Review Portal was launched. Android mobile app of Bihar HRMS (Human Resource Management System) was also launched, which is now available on Google Play Store.

Through this app, all the regular employees of the state will be able to easily do tasks like applying for leave, service related claims, service book information and correction in it from their login. This facility of the app will help the employees to get quick services even from outside the office.

Under another important welfare initiative in this ceremony, Group Health Insurance Scheme was launched for contract workers. For this purpose, a triennial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Bihar Administrative Reforms Mission Society and SBI General Insurance Company Limited.

Development Commissioner Pratyaya Amrit, Additional Chief Secretaries, Secretaries of many departments and departmental officials were present at the ceremony.
