PATNA------------------------Bihar politics is currently in turmoil. From the NDA to the Grand Alliance, every political camp is in turmoil during the ticket distribution process. Claimants are disgruntled, while alliance partners are at loggerheads.
The question currently echoing through political circles is: "Who will cut whose ticket, and who will benefit?"
All is not well within the NDA either. The lack of coordination between the BJP and JDU is clearly evident on many seats. While seat-sharing agreements have been reached, grassroots workers are dissatisfied. The denial of tickets to many old faces has sparked revolt.
According to sources, disagreements persist between the LJP (Ram Vilas) and HAM over some seats.
The state of the Grand Alliance is no better. The tussle between the RJD and Congress over seats has raised questions about the alliance's unity. Congress is unwilling to give up its traditional seats, while the RJD believes that "the support base belongs to our party, so seats should be decided according to our wishes."
Discontent over ticket distribution is also running high among allies like the Left and VIP.
In this environment, many leaders are now considering party switching. In the past few days, contenders for several seats have changed their political positions. Some have joined new alliances in the hope of a "respectable ticket."
While leaders are entangled in ticketing and political equations, the public is now asking the question: "Who will address development?"
From Patna to Siwan, Gaya, and Bhagalpur, only one issue is echoing in political discussions – “Who will form the government in Bihar this time?”
