PATNA-----------------------------The CBI team raided the Income Tax Office in Patna on Tuesday evening. The sudden raid by CBI in the Income Tax Office has created a stir. The CBI team took two employees of the Income Tax Office with them for questioning.
The officers and employees of the Income Tax Office are currently avoiding saying anything about this action of the CBI. According to information received from sources, the two employees who have been taken for questioning by the Central Investigation Agency are an Inspector of Research Branch and a Multi Tasking Staff.
The CBI team has raided the office after getting concrete information in a bribery case. The case is said to be related to a bribe of Rs 2 lakh. However, till late night, there has been no official confirmation regarding the action by the CBI and the Income Tax Department.
