BUXAR---------------------------He is a resident of Padsira village in Shahpur block of Bhojpur district. NDA-backed candidate Rahul Singh has been fielded for the Dumraon seat. He is not a resident of the Dumraon assembly constituency. Instead, he is a resident of Dharili village, which also falls within the Brahmapur block. The LJP has fielded Hulas Pandey from the Brahmapur seat. He is a resident of Daimiya town in Rohtas district. Santosh Nirala, who has consistently won the Rajpur assembly constituency, is also a resident of Chunni Milki village in Chaisa block. Consequently, resentment is growing among local workers that they are being sidelined. Rumors are rife that Rahul Singh joined the JDU just minutes before receiving the ticket. He immediately became a member and received the ticket. However, the truth is known to top JDU leaders. Meanwhile, Mithilesh Tiwari, who lost the Buxar Lok Sabha seat and Anand Mishra was accused of being responsible for the defeat, has also been given a BJP ticket for the Assembly elections.

With only a few days left for the nomination process for the Assembly elections, the NDA has announced the names of its candidates. Interestingly, outsiders are the dominant candidates in all four constituencies. This sounds strange, but the truth is that all four candidates are residents of their respective constituencies. Speaking of the Sadar seat, former IPS officer Anand Mishra, who had come to the Lok Sabha elections with great enthusiasm, has been nominated.
