Bilgram: MLA, DM assure swift action on public grievances at Samadhan Diwas
Hardoi (RNI) A Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas (Public Grievance Redressal Day) was organized today at Bilgram tehsil under the joint chairmanship of MLA Ashish Singh ‘Ashu’ and District Magistrate Anunay Jha.
Addressing the gathering, the MLA assured complainants that all grievances will be resolved on priority. He emphasized that encroachments on land belonging to the poor will be cleared and strict action will be taken against illegal occupants.
District Magistrate Jha directed revenue and police officials to identify illegal encroachments on government and community land and take action under the Anti-Land Mafia Act. He further instructed the electricity department to restore power supply in flood-affected villages at the earliest and resolve consumer complaints without delay. Expressing displeasure over pending pension cases, the DM asked officials to verify and restart pensions for widows, the elderly, and differently-abled beneficiaries. He also directed the supply department to ensure timely ration distribution to cardholders in flood-hit areas.
The DM stressed that all departments must ensure the benefits of welfare schemes reach the poor and eligible beneficiaries on priority, while development works should be completed on time with full quality standards.
Superintendent of Police Neeraj Kumar Jadaun instructed station officers to coordinate with revenue teams and clear encroachments from government and poor’s land.
On the occasion, the MLA distributed Ayushman health cards and BPL ration cards to beneficiaries. The program was attended by the SDM, Tehsildar, CO Bilgram, district-level officers, BDOs, EOs, CDPOs, and other officials.
