BIHAR CONGRESS WILL REMAIN A STOOGE OF RJD
Congress' existence in Bihar politics has now become a mere formality. The events of the last few days are making it clear that neither the party has any organizational discipline left nor the maturity in the leadership, which is the identity of a serious opposition. The fight between Congress workers over a chair during the martyr tribute program organized at Sadaqat Ashram in the capital Patna is the latest example of this falling level.

PATNA------------------------Congress' existence in Bihar politics has now become a mere formality.
This shameful incident happened when the state president Rajesh Ram himself was present in the program. The debate that started between Minority Cell President Umair Khan and Social Media Incharge Saurabh Sinha over a chair to sit on turned into pushing and shoving and fighting. In this program called to pay tribute to the martyrs of Pulwama and Pahalgam, financial assistance was to be given to the families of the martyrs, but the program became an arena for political fight.
This is not the first incident. Earlier on 11 July 2025, during the review meeting of Congress at Shaheed Bhawan in Arrah, workers clashed with each other. The incident of pushing, abusing and kicking and punching had badly embarrassed the party. A senior leader also suffered a head injury. There too, discipline was torn to shreds in the presence of top party leaders.
These two incidents proved that Congress is neither united nor does it have any kind of hold left in the leadership. Factionalism has become so deep that there is no restraint left even in public programs.
The condition of Bihar Congress has become such that its presence in the assembly is nominal, the workers are confused and the leadership is directionless. In this situation, it is meaningless to even think that Congress will ever be able to come out of the shadow of RJD in the state. Bargaining for seats in every election, silence on policy-ideology and now internal strife - all this tells only one thing:
There is talk of reviving the party when there is discipline in the organization and clarity in thoughts, but here loyalty is less in the leaders and more in the factions. Will such a party be able to lead the people?
Today the question is not how will the Congress fight the elections, the question is whether it will be able to fight itself unitedly.
