During that time, he was shot dead. While his friend Raju Kumar was also injured by the bullet.

The absconding accused in the attempt to murder case has been arrested by the Udwantnagar police station. During the investigation, the name of the arrested accused came up and he was absconding since then.

Here, as per the villagers, he had gone to Salempur Ghat with his friends to fish. During that time he drowned in flood water. After this, the NDRF team searched for him till late evening. But the body could not be found.
