BHOJPUR DM LAUNCHES ‘CHUNAV SATHI’ MOBILE APP

ARA--------------------------Today, District Election Officer-cum-District Magistrate Bhojpur, Tanay Sultania, launched the "Chunav Sathi" mobile application at the Nagari Pracharini Sabhagar, Bhojpur, as part of the SWEEP program in view of the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly General Elections 2025. This application has been developed to make voting simple and accessible for voters.

District Magistrate Tanay Sultania appealed to all citizens of the district to download the "Chunav Sathi" mobile application and participate in this grand festival of democracy by exercising their right to vote in the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly General Elections 2025 on November 6, 2025.

The District Magistrate directed the District Education Officer to launch an awareness campaign regarding this application in schools and colleges so that more students can download it. He also directed that letters received by students under the "Letter Writing Campaign," along with videos, should be uploaded to this mobile application.

The District Magistrate informed that first-time voters of Bhojpur district, who will upload their inked finger, photo and other details on this application after voting, will be provided with a Digital Appreciation Letter from the District Administration.

On this occasion, Deputy Development Commissioner Bhojpur presented a brief description of various features of the “Chunav Sathi” mobile application, which includes facilities like location of polling station, queue status at the booth, contact number of booth level officer, various SVEEP activities, complaint and feedback. Assistant Collector Bhojpur, Special Officer, Nodal Officer of SVEEP Cell, District Education Officer, Deputy Election Officer, students from various schools and colleges and other concerned officials were present in the program.
