BHOJPUR AND BUXAR GOT POWER PROJECTS

ARA--------------------------Chief Minister Nitish Kumar laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various energy sector schemes in Bhojpur and Buxar districts. These schemes will strengthen the power infrastructure of both the districts, strengthen the transmission and distribution network and ensure better and uninterrupted power supply to the consumers.

Under the distribution sector schemes in Bhojpur district, 01 new 33 kV line at a cost of Rs 1.3 crore, reconductoring of 03 new 33 kV lines at a cost of Rs 0.21 crore, 01 new 33 kV line at a cost of Rs 2 crore and power transformer capacity expansion work in 07 power substations at a cost of Rs 10.21 crore are included. Along with this, the transmission sector also includes the construction of 132 kV Piro-Dumraon (new) double circuit transmission line at a cost of Rs 65.30 crore and 132 kV Piro-Vikramganj second circuit transmission line at a cost of Rs 10.40 crore and 1 line bay in Vikramganj grid sub-station. Thus, the foundation stone of schemes worth about Rs 89.22 crore was laid and inaugurated in Bhojpur district.

Under the distribution sector schemes in Buxar district, 6 new 33 kV lines were constructed at a cost of Rs 15.96 crore and power transformer capacity expansion work was done in 6 power sub-stations at a cost of Rs 7.60 crore. In the transmission sector, capacity enhancement of 80 MVA power transformer at grid sub-centre Dumraon at a cost of Rs 8.50 crore and construction of 220 kV Buxar Thermal Power Plant-Dumraon (new) double circuit transmission line at a cost of Rs 124.68 crore are included. Thus, foundation stone and inauguration of schemes worth about Rs 156.74 crore was done in Buxar district. In both the districts, foundation stone and inauguration of power schemes worth about Rs 245.96 crore were done.
