BHAI DINESH DEMANDED TO OPEN A PORTAL FOR FILLING ONLINE FORMS FOR CROP LOSS COMPENSATION

Farmers in Jagdishpur and Piro have not yet been able to fill out online compensation forms due to the Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer and Block Agriculture Officer failing to provide accurate timely verification data. A ten-day extension has been requested.

Farmer advisors have been appointed in every Panchayat to inform farmers about filling out forms. If farmers in Jagdishpur Assembly Constituency are denied the benefits of crop loss compensation, we will close the chamber of the Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer. RJD leader and former MLA, Jagdishpur, Bhai Dinesh, on receiving information regarding the non-opening of the portal for filling out online forms for paddy crop loss compensation for farmers in Jagdishpur and Piro blocks of Jagdishpur Assembly Constituency, spoke to the Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer, SDM Jagdishpur, DM Bhojpur, and the Agriculture Director, Government of Bihar, by phone and expressed his anger through a WhatsApp message.

Bhai Dinesh said that he has called for the portal to be opened as soon as possible and for a ten-day extension for filling out the online form. Bhai Dinesh has also called for an agricultural advisor to be deployed in every Panchayat to facilitate online form filling and educate farmers about the process. Bhai Dinesh said that the portal has not yet opened due to the gross negligence of the Agriculture Officer, Jagdishpur, and the Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer, including their failure to timely assess crop loss and submit the crop loss data to the department. If the farmers of the Jagdishpur Assembly constituency are deprived of crop loss compensation, they will be forced to surround the Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer's chamber and engage in violent protests and demonstrations. My efforts have always been for the development of farmers and for the speedy resolution of their problems, and continue to be so in the future. Bhai Dinesh said that he was the first to raise his voice for crop loss compensation for farmers, submitted a memorandum to the SDM, DM, and Chief Minister, held demonstrations, and held numerous meetings.
