AISA’S ONE DAY DHARNA TO SOLVE VARIOUS PROBLEMS OF OBC HOSTEL

ARA-------------------------Hundreds of activists of the All India Student Association staged a day long dharna in front of the office of the Bhojpur District Magistrate to press fulfillment of their charter of demands to solve various problems of OBC Hostel at Zero Mile Ara.

Their main demands included a road from OBC hostel to Ara-Sasaram road, renovation of dilapidated hostel building at once and additional hostel of 200 beds, digital library in OBC hostel, action against the hostel superintendent who seldom comes to the hostel, availability of sports kits, regular distribution of grains, anomalies should be investigated and action should be taken against the guilty, monthly hostel grant of Rs.2000 per student, sanitation in the hostel, magazines for hostel, toilets should be maintained properly, new gate at the entrance of the main gate of the hostel replacing the broken one, new CCTV cameras should be installed, uplift the surface to stop waterlogging, street lights, provide basic facilities.
