ARA--------------------------On the 53rd death anniversary of the CPI(ML) founding leaders, martyrs Comrade Master Jagdish and Comrade Ramayan Ram, a pledge day was observed by the CPI(ML) City Committee at Kranti Park, Purvi Nawada, Ara! On this pledge day, a two-minute silence was observed to pay tribute to martyrs Comrade Master Jagdish and Comrade Ramayan Ram, along with all the martyrs of the democratic revolution! After that, garlands were offered to the portrait of martyr Comrade Master Jagdish and the statues of all the leaders in Kranti Park! Addressing the gathering on the occasion of the pledge day, CPI(ML) District Office Secretary Dilraj Pritam said that in Bhojpur in the 1970s, the poor had no social, political, or economic rights. The poor in Bhojpur did not even have the right to sit on a cot or cast their vote. Exploitation and oppression were at their peak. Poor people could not even demand their wages. The power structure at that time showed a cruel face towards the poor. Against this white terror, the red spark that emerged from Ekawari under the leadership of Master Jagdish, Ramnaresh Ram, and Rameshwar Yadav intensified the struggle against this exploitation and oppression, and because of this struggle, the social, political, and economic rights of the vast majority of the poor were strengthened, and today the voice of the poor is being raised throughout the country, and this struggle continues under the leadership of the party of Master Jagdish, Ramnaresh Ram, and Rameshwar Yadav, the CPI(ML). Thousands of people have made sacrifices in this struggle! Further, CPI(ML) leader Dilraj Pritam said that today, the Modi government, at the behest of Adani and Ambani, is bringing laws to change the Constitution and democracy. All the country's government institutions are being sold to Adani and Ambani, and when voices of protest are raised in the Lok Sabha, attempts are being made to suppress those voices! He further said that as soon as the BJP-Nitish government, formed through vote rigging, came to power in Bihar, bulldozers started running across Bihar against the poor, Dalits, backward classes, and shopkeepers in the name of encroachment, without issuing any notice or providing any alternative arrangements! At such a critical juncture, we must intensify the people's resistance against this bulldozer rule by following the path of struggle shown by revolutionaries like Martyr Master Jagdish and Ramayan Ram!

Addressing the Sankalp Diwas (Resolution Day) program, CPI(ML) City Committee member Milton Kushwaha said that we are living in a time when the government's cycle of repression against the poor continues, while on the other hand, the cycle of movement against this repression also continues. Today, a nationwide movement is underway against Modi's fascist rule. The Modi government wants to dismantle the democratic structure of this country and impose fascist rule. In such a time, carrying forward the tradition of resistance of Master Jagdish, we need to intensify the people's resistance against the Modi government because if the government is bent on crushing the lives of the poor, then building resistance against the bulldozer rule will be a true tribute to Master Jagdish! The resolution meeting was conducted by City Secretary Sudhir Kumar Singh!

The Sankalp Diwas program was attended by CPI(ML) District Committee member Rajnath Ram, construction worker leader Balmukund Chaudhary, AIPWA City President Shobha Mandal, City Secretary Sangeeta Singh, AILAJ leader Amit Kumar Bunty, AISA District Co-Secretary Roshan Kushwaha, City Committee members Harinath Ram, Santvilas Ram, Milton Kushwaha, Bablu Gupta, Mithilesh Kumar, Kalawati Devi, Sunil Kumar, Jayshankar Prasad, Raju Prasad, Sahil Arora, Manoj Yadav, Pankaj Kushwaha, Sanjay Gupta, and Ritesh Kumar.
