PATNA--------------------------Criminals are now in trouble in Bihar. Samrat Chaudhary, who assumed charge of the Home Department after the formation of the new government, has now followed in the footsteps of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Taking action, the Deputy Chief Minister has launched a major campaign against criminals.
Meanwhile, the Bihar Police is also prepared to crack down on criminals. Bihar DGP Vinay Kumar said on Thursday that criminals in Bihar will not be spared. A hit list of 1,600 individuals has been prepared. Mafia rule will be ended. This list includes land mafias, sand mafias, and major criminals. Certified documents have been prepared against all of them and the entire list has been submitted to the court. As soon as the court orders, action will be intensified and their properties will be confiscated.
DGP Vinay Kumar also said that miscreants are now in trouble in Bihar. To crack down on these, a decision has been made to form an anti-eve-teasing squad. Police officers will now be seen patrolling outside schools and colleges on scooters. 2,000 scooters are being purchased for this purpose.
It is noteworthy that the Bihar Police has swung into action to control crime. A prime example of this was seen in Kishanganj, where the police took major action against smack dealers and bulldozed more than 12 illegal smack dens in the Khagda Mela Ground area.
