ORDER TO ATTACH DM’S OFFICE PROPERTY

SASARAM---------------------------Taking serious note of the defiance of court orders, the court of District Judge-4 Anil Kumar in Sasaram, the district headquarters, has issued an order to attach the property of the District Magistrate's (DM) office. The court stated that a fine of Rs. 10,000 had been imposed on the DM on December 23, 2025, for defying the order. Despite this, he is playing hide-and-seek with the court by not paying attention to the execution of the order. The court said that the attachment order will remain in effect until the amount, along with the fine, is recovered. It is reported that the branch manager of Oriental Insurance Company had filed a case against Sanjay Kumar Gupta in 2014. In this case, the DM was directed to ensure the payment of the amount awarded in a vehicle accident claim case. The court has directed the Station House Officer (SHO) of the Nagar police station to provide the necessary police force to the Nazir (court official) for the attachment. He has also been asked to complete the entire process quickly and inform the court.
