PATNA----------------------------The police's strong crackdown against crime continues in Bihar. On Wednesday night, a fierce encounter took place between the police and Parmanand Yadav, a notorious henchman of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, in the Masaurhi area of ​​Patna.

The police received secret information that Parmanand Yadav, a key henchman of the Bishnoi gang, had arrived in Patna to carry out a major crime. Following this, the police laid a trap: The police set up a checkpoint near NH-22 (Lala Bigha village).

When the police signaled Parmanand, who was riding a Pulsar bike, to stop, he instead opened fire on the police team.  The police took cover and retaliated with gunfire, in which one bullet hit Parmanand in the leg, and he collapsed there.

The police immediately apprehended him and recovered weapons from him. This notorious criminal is originally from Latehar (Chandwa) in Jharkhand and was establishing the Bishnoi gang's network in Bihar. More than 36 serious cases (murder, robbery, extortion) are registered against him in Bihar and Jharkhand.

He has been sent to PMCH for treatment, where he is under strict police surveillance. Patna Police has made it clear that the fear of any criminal or gang will not be tolerated in Bihar. The rule of law was, is, and will remain!
