ARA-----------------------------Nowadays, anemia is becoming a common problem, which can be caused by poor diet, weakness, and nutritional deficiencies.

Due to today's hectic lifestyle and poor eating habits, anemia has become a common problem among women and children. Sometimes, even expensive medicines don't show the same effect as the simple principles of Ayurveda.

Headache, weakness, and frequent dizziness are early signs of anemia developing in the body. When the production of red blood cells decreases in the body, the flow of oxygen is disrupted. In Ayurveda, this condition is called Pandu Roga, which can be cured by lifestyle changes rather than medicines.

• Soak 2 raisins and 2 figs overnight and consume them in the morning.

• Drink fresh white pumpkin and amla juice on an empty stomach in the morning.

• Increase the consumption of sesame seeds and jaggery and take Triphala powder with lukewarm water before going to bed at night.

• Licking iron bhasma (ash) with honey is especially effective in boosting hemoglobin levels quickly.

To increase the body's ability to absorb iron, include green leafy vegetables, drumsticks, and beetroot in your diet. Among fruits, pomegranate, dates, apples, and black grapes are a panacea. Be sure to include buttermilk with your lunch as it improves digestion and aids in blood formation.

Completely avoid excessive green chilies, brinjal, very sour fruits, and packaged foods, as these increase pitta in the body and damage blood cells.

According to Ayurveda, an iron pan should be used for cooking. This naturally adds iron particles to the food. Along with this, sunbathing, i.e., getting some mild morning sunlight, is essential. This improves Vitamin D levels, which are crucial for the strength and production of red blood cells. If you honestly follow these three rules for just 7 days, you will feel a noticeable improvement in your energy levels and blood circulation.
