ACCUSED ESCAPED FROM POLICE STATION, DUTY OFFICER SUSPENDED

BUXAR-----------------------------Superintendent of Police Shubham Arya has taken serious note of the incident where an accused escaped from custody at the Nagar police station. The duty officer has been suspended for negligence of duty.

According to the information received, Farhan, son of Zubair, a resident of Khalasi Mohalla in the city and the main accused in Nagar police station case number 24/26, was arrested by the police on Sunday night and kept at the Nagar police station. On Monday, taking advantage of the negligence of the duty officer, the accused broke the grill of the toilet window inside the police station premises and escaped.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Superintendent of Police Shubham Arya immediately took strict action and suspended Police Sub-Inspector Izhar Khan, who was on duty. A special team has also been formed to arrest the absconding accused, and raids have been intensified.

The police administration says that the entire matter is being investigated, and if any other person's negligence comes to light in this case, strict action will be taken against them as well. Continuous raids are being conducted at possible hideouts to arrest the accused.
