PATNA---------------------------The government has suspended about 9000 special survey workers who were protesting for their demands in Gardanibagh, Patna, the capital of Bihar. These workers were on strike for the last several days, due to which the land survey work going on in the state was getting hampered.

The special survey workers say that other workers working at par with them get all the benefits of government service. Whereas, they have been working on contract for the last three-four years. They had appealed to the government many times regarding this demand, but when there was no hearing, they had to sit on a dharna.

The special survey workers protesting in Gardanibagh said that there has been no talks with the state government yet. At the same time, the government has taken action against us and suspended 9000 workers. Land reform campaign is going on and they are protesting
