While speaking at the conference, he called the local MLA and Bihar government minister Jama Khan a traitor and a broker of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. His statement is now rapidly going viral on social media.

At the farmers' conference held in Chainpur, MP Sudhakar Singh said that the candidate elected by the people of Chainpur last time turned out to be a traitor. Instead of protecting the interests of the people, he is only begging for help. He alleged that Minister Jama Khan is acting as a middleman for Nitish Kumar in spreading the web of corruption that has spread across Chainpur and Bihar.

Referring to the irrigation problems faced by farmers, Sudhakar Singh said that Chainpur's fields should have received 300 cusecs of water from the Musa Khand and Latif Shah dams coming from Uttar Pradesh. Instead of fulfilling his responsibilities, the minister has merely become a party to Nitish Kumar's scams and corruption. He said that if the minister had the power, he could have secured water for the farmers, leading to prosperity in the area.

In his address, Sudhakar Singh also noted that the Grand Alliance had given a ticket to a weak candidate last time. The public voted for that candidate to defeat the BJP, but he later fell into the BJP's lap. He alleged that the BJP and Bahujan politics are preoccupied with selling tickets for money, while the Grand Alliance does not give tickets to wealthy individuals.
