ARA-------------------------Under Special Intensive Revision-2025, the draft electoral list has been published on 01 August 2025. After the publication of the draft list, claims/objections are being received from 01 August 2025 (Friday), the last date for which has been fixed as 01 September 2025. In order to provide maximum convenience to the general public and prompt disposal of claims/objections, in addition to the already running system, special camps have been arranged in all the block and municipal body offices of the district. These special camps will operate every day (including Sundays) from 10:00 am to 05:00 pm, where citizens can register their claims/objections. If voters wish, they can also file this claim/objection through online medium, or can submit the relevant application along with the prescribed forms to the BLO of their polling station. Applications can be made in Form 6 for adding names, Form 7 for deletion of names of dead, double entry or permanently transferred voters and Form 8 for correction in name, name of relative, age, details, transfer from one part to another, duplicate EPIC and marking of disabled voters. All the claims and objections received will be executed by the concerned Electoral Registration Officer by 25th September 2025. After this, the final publication of the electoral list will be done on 30th September 2025 as per the schedule prescribed by the Election Commission of India.
In this context, the District Election Officer-cum-District Officer Bhojpur has appealed to all the citizens and public representatives to submit their applications within the stipulated period of claim/objection. Also, ensure that "no eligible voter is left out". All eligible citizens should get their names registered in the electoral list and ensure their participation in strengthening democracy by exercising their franchise in the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly General Election 2025.
