ARA----------------------------A meeting was held with the organizers and DJ operators of Puja pandals set up at different places in Piro Municipal Council area and Piro block on Sunday under the chairmanship of Sub-Divisional Officer Krishna Kumar Upadhyay and Sub-Divisional Police Officer Krishna Kumar Singh in the Piro sub-division auditorium. Piro police station in-charge and secretaries/treasurers or presidents of all Puja pandals were present in the meeting. Everyone was informed that it is mandatory to obtain a license for making Puja pandals. Mostly cotton fabrics will be used in Puja pandal construction material so that there is less damage in case of fire incidents. Puja pandals will take all fire fighting measures, such as keeping buckets filled with sand, installing fire safety cylinders, fixing electrical connections, keeping havans etc. organized in a safe manner and making a flex of fire prevention measures and putting it on the pandal. Along with this, all Puja committees were told by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer that it is necessary for all Puja committees to install CCTV cameras, appoint volunteers in the Puja pandals and provide the name and mobile number of the volunteer who will guard the Puja pandal at night. Along with this, it will be mandatory to provide the name, mobile number and identity card of at least 20 people for each Puja pandal. Apart from this, 20 people from those who will set up the Puja pandal will be called to the police station and identified and only after that the license will be given. The use of DJ in the sound amplifiers installed at the Puja pandals and the use of DJ in the immersion procession will be completely banned. No DJ operator will make booking for Puja pandals and immersion otherwise his DJ will be confiscated and an FIR will be registered against him. The Sub-Divisional Officer suggested to all Puja Committees that the Puja Pandals should be built in such a way that there is no obstruction on the way and the road can be operated smoothly. Apart from this, the Sub-Divisional Officer told that by applying for the license on time, the license will be received on time and no Puja Pandal or Puja Committee will face any problem. Police officers and magistrates will be deputed at all the Puja Pandals by the District Administration and Sub-Divisional Administration. Apart from this, the traffic system will also be improved in the city. After Saptami, from 5:00 pm onwards, four-wheelers, above that and two-wheelers will not be allowed to enter the main city after a certain limit so that the devotees can move around properly. Alternate routes will be arranged for the vehicles and such vehicles will be diverted by putting up barricades etc. No more than 50 persons will be involved in any idol immersion. This declaration form will have to be given to the people of all the Puja Pandals. If more than 50 people participate in the procession, then it will be necessary to control such processions.
