Prashant Kishore, the architect of Jan Suraj, has supported the students' agitation over domicile in Patna. He said that Bihar's domicile policy is completely wrong because the children of Bihar are going to other states and working as laborers and people from other states are coming here and working. This is the result of Nitish Kumar's wrong policy. Nitish Kumar wants people from other states to come to Bihar and work so that he can be promoted in other states. For his desire to become the Prime Minister and for his own promotion, he gave the jobs of the children of Bihar to people from other states.

Along with this, he strongly attacked the current Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav for adopting double standards on the domicile policy. He said that in the teacher appointment that Tejashwi Yadav is claiming to have been done during the Grand Alliance government, thousands of people from other states have been appointed as teachers in Bihar. And today when he is in the opposition, he is talking about implementing the domicile policy. Why was the domicile policy not implemented when the Grand Alliance was in power? Similarly, when the current Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary was in the opposition, he supported the domicile policy.
