POLICE ARRESTED HISTORY-SHEETER WITH COUNTRY MADE CARBINE

ARA--------------------------Police, engaged in the recovery of illegal weapons to ensure free and fair assembly elections in Bhojpur, have achieved another major success. Police have arrested a former history-sheeter with a country-made carbine from Ramdihal Tola village, Chandi Police Station area. He is Satyendra Kumar Singh, son of Sahanand Singh, a resident of Ramdihal Tola village.

He was arrested from his home on Tuesday night. He has previously been accused in two murder cases and one case of liquor smuggling. He has also been jailed in those cases. Superintendent of Police Raj released this information in a press statement on Wednesday.

He stated that on Tuesday night, information was received about the presence of illegal weapons, such as carbines, at the home of Satyendra Kumar Singh, a resident of Ramdihal Tola village, Chandi Police Station. Based on this information, a team was immediately formed under the leadership of Station House Officer Rakesh Roshan and a raid was conducted at Satyendra Kumar Singh's house.

During the search, a country-made carbine hidden under a pile of cow dung cakes on the roof of his house was recovered. After that Satyendra Kumar Singh was arrested.

According to the police, during interrogation Satyendra Kumar Singh told that about two months ago he had brought a country-made carbine from UP. A person from UP had given him the carbine to keep. However, the police are questioning him thoroughly about the carbine.

Efforts are also being made to identify and arrest the person from UP who gave him the carbine. According to the police, Satyendra Kumar Singh has been a history-sheeter in the past. Satyendra Kumar Singh's name had come up in murder cases in 1998 and 2005 and in liquor smuggling cases in 2022. He had also gone to jail in all three cases.
