CM NITISH KUMAR’S LEADERSHIP AND BIHAR’S NEW DIRECTION

PATNA------------------------Bihar, which was once seen as a symbol of poverty and backwardness, has now moved in a new direction. If any leadership has played the most important role in the background of this change, then it is the strong, simple and sensitive leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The way he has given priority to roads, electricity, education, law and order and social justice has become an example in Bihar politics.

During Nitish Kumar's tenure, a network of roads connecting rural and urban areas was laid. Thousands of kilometers of roads were built under the Chief Minister Rural Road Scheme, which made it easier to connect villages to the district headquarters. Bridges and flyovers were constructed rapidly, which also provided relief from the problem of traffic jams.

From darkness to light: Bihar, which once struggled with power cuts and darkness, is illuminated today. The campaign to provide electricity to every village was completed rapidly under the 'Har Ghar Bijli' scheme. There was a time when electricity was the identity of cities only, but today uninterrupted supply is seen in every village.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took steps like appointment of teachers, repair of school buildings, scholarship schemes, and bicycle scheme to bring children to schools. There was a huge increase in the enrollment of girls. Technical institutes and universities also expanded in higher education.

There was a time in Bihar when criminal incidents were common. But the policy of fast and fair action under the leadership of Nitish Kumar created fear in the minds of criminals. Fast trials and rule of law have now become the basis of administration. Tough decisions like prohibition of liquor are the result of this thinking.

Bringing marginalized sections into the mainstream: The foundation of Nitish Kumar's politics has been social justice. Many welfare schemes were brought for the backward classes, Dalits, Mahadalits, minorities, women and the elderly. Steps like expansion of reservation policy and gender budgeting further strengthen this thinking.

Today, when there is a period of rumours, lies and negativity on social media and forums, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has once again reached the public on the basis of his simplicity, spontaneity and work. He has proved that politics is not just a game of promises, but a confluence of policies and intentions.

Nitish model is a symbol of inclusive development: Nitish Kumar's leadership strengthens the spirit of 'Garv Se Kaho Hum Bihari Hai'. The development model given by him - in which development with justice, good governance, transparency and public participation are given priority - is a legacy that will become an inspiration for generations to come.
