ARA-----------------------------A case of outraging modesty of a teenage girl came out of closet under Piro police station area and a video of the act was sent to the WhatsApp of her younger sister. An FIR was lodged with the police under Piro police station in this regard on the statement of the mother of the girl against four youths including Santosh Kumar and Vishal Kumar of Baghada Tola under Sikarhatta police station. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and started investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the rapists. The police brought the girl to the Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and also produced in the Ara Civil Court to get her statement registered under section 164 CrPC.

Quoting the FIR, the SHO Piro police station said that a girl of Class VII was returning home at about midday during lunch time on July 3, 2025 when four youths including Santosh Kumar and Vishal Kumar of Baghada village came on a motorcycle and forcibly took her to a secluded place after tying her mouth with a his wrapper where they Santosh Kumar outraged her modesty while three other videographed the incident. When she tried to raise alarm, they thrash her with a brick on her mouth and injured. After outraging her modesty they threatened her with dire consequences and also dropped her near her village. The girl was so frightened that she did not say anything to anyone in the family. At about 11pm, a video of the incident came on the mobile of her younger sister though the video was deleted after sometime. The family members knew about the incident with this video and the mother of the girl lodged an FIR with the police under Piro police station on July 5, 2025 in this regard.
