PATNA------------------------------Police solved the murder case of Divyang Dheeraj in Bakhtiyarpur, capital Patna. Police arrested his wife Shalu Kumari (22) on the charge of murdering Dheeraj Kumar (25). During interrogation, accused Shalu accepted that she got her husband killed by a shooter along with her cousin brother-in-law. She told that she wanted to get her husband out of the way and marry her cousin brother-in-law. On the information given by the accused, police recovered Rs 2 lakh 43 thousand and two mobiles from her house.

SDPO-2 Abhishek Singh said that Dheeraj Kumar, son of late Dharmanath Singh alias Banthu Singh, resident of Rabaich, Bakhtiyarpur, was murdered and his body was thrown into the Dhoba river. His body was recovered from the river bank on Monday.

A team was formed to investigate the murder case. During investigation, the team found that despite the youth's disappearance from home, the wife did not inform the police. Due to which the police suspected the wife. Investigation revealed that the deceased's wife was having an affair with her cousin for two years. She wanted to get her husband out of the way and marry her brother-in-law. The wife was plotting to get her husband killed with her cousin for a long time. A few days ago, Dheeraj had sold land worth Rs 9 lakh. Both of them had their eyes on that money.

Both of them hatched a conspiracy to kill Dheeraj and grab the money. The accused woman, along with her cousin, took Dheeraj to Dhoba Bridge and got him killed by a shooter. The police have found blood stains at the scene of the incident. SHO Devanand Sharma said that five criminals were involved in this incident. After interrogation, the accused woman was sent to jail. Raids are being conducted to arrest the other accused.
