ARA----------------------------The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) of Bhojpur celebrated the 164th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in Arrah city which is annually observed as National Youth Day. On this occasion, a nationwide awareness program, "Run for Swadeshi," was organized. The main objective of this program was to instill values of leadership, nation-building, service, and self-reliance in the youth. The "Run for Swadeshi" initiative was proposed by the Government of India as part of its "Developed India" program. The primary aim of this program is to encourage all Indians to adopt indigenous products and promote awareness of locally produced goods and food. The program was led by District President Vibhu Jain. The "Run for Swadeshi" race began with a flag-off ceremony at Veer Kunwar Singh Stadium in Arrah Ramna Maidan. It then proceeded through Shaheed Bhawan Chowk, Mahavir Tola, Mathia Mod, Shivganj Mod, Jail Road, Gopali Chowk, Dharman Chowk, and Town Police Station before concluding back at Arrah Ramna Maidan. Thousands of young people from the city participated in the event. The chief guest, Ajay Kumar, Regional Organizing General Secretary of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, addressed the enthusiastic crowd of young people with slogans of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" (Victory to Mother India). He said that the Swadeshi platform has invited all youth, universities, colleges, and physical academies across India to participate in the "Run for Swadeshi" program. He urged everyone to join together and declare "Jai Jai Swadeshi" (Victory to Swadeshi) and to ensure that all goods purchased from the market are Indian-made and produced in India. He emphasized the importance of supporting local vendors, especially those who sell their goods from baskets on their heads. BJP District President Durga Raj said that while all Indians are moving away from their ancient culture and traditions, today, before resolving to build a developed India, we must first resolve to adopt Swadeshi. He expressed his happiness at seeing so many young people from Arrah participating in the program, saying it felt like the city was taking a step towards Swadeshi. The city's mayor, Indu Devi, who was present at the event, said that adopting indigenous products keeps us healthy and protects us from serious diseases. She added that adopting indigenous practices increases the life expectancy of the city's residents.
Vibhu Jain, the district president of the Yuva Morcha (Youth Wing), said that through this Swadeshi (indigenous) initiative in Ranpur, they want to send a positive message to all the youth, empowering them to contribute to building a developed India, as they will now dedicate themselves to promoting and adopting indigenous products. Also present were prominent Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) officials, including Alok Anjan, State Co-convenor of the Business Forum; Rakesh Ranjan, District Convenor of the Business Forum; Dr. Aditya Vijay Jain, General Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce; Om Prakash Rai, Student Welfare Officer of Veer Kunwar Singh University; State Spokesperson Amarendra Choubey; Kumar Mangalam Sanjay Singh, founder of Prayas Ek Koshish; Sunil Chaudhary of Tejas; Amit Pal of Hindustan Physical Academy; Santosh Chandravanshi, Uday Singh, Lalandip Ji, Nishant Singh Sengar, Sanjay Gupta, Virendra Ji, Yuva Morcha District General Secretary Adi Singh, and Umang Chandravanshi, Rajan Nair, Pratik Virat, Harsh Raj Mangalam, Rakesh Sharma, Priyanshu Srivastava, Amlesh Yadav, Akash Pandey, Ratnesh Nandan, Vikash Gupta, Ravi Pandey, Shashi Singh, Utsav Singh, Rahul Anand of Jinwani College, Rakesh Pathak of Gyan Jyoti, Vaibhav, Ritik Sinha, trainer Subhash Kumar and Tulsi Kumari, Kritika Kumari, Ritika Kumari, Karan Kumari, Babli Kumari, Sunita Kumari, Khushi Kumari, Lucky Kumari, Poonam Kumari, Sonam Pandey, Sonam Rai, Sanjana Tiwari, Shweta Singh, along with hundreds of other workers.
