ARA-----------------------------A serious incident has come to light in Bhojpur district of Bihar, where Kamta Yadav, the head of Ghagha Panchayat under Bihiya block, has alleged receiving death threats. The entire matter is reportedly linked to a land dispute, which has now created a stir at both the political and administrative levels.
According to available information, Kamta Yadav, the head of Ghagha Panchayat, has made a video about the entire incident and informed senior district officials through social media. In the video, the village head alleges that he is being continuously threatened by some anti-social elements and that his under-construction house has been vandalized.
Speaking to the media, Village Head Kamta Yadav said that he was constructing a house on land he had purchased. During this time, dozens of people arrived and started creating a ruckus, claiming the land as their own. The village head alleges that those who created the disturbance have no legal right to the land. Despite this, they hurled abuses, obstructed the construction work, and even threatened to kill him.
However, counter-allegations are also being made in this case. The opposing party claims that Kamta Yadav has misused his position and encroached on a larger area of land than he actually purchased. They claim that the village head is illegally occupying the land and that they have filed a complaint with the administration.
Meanwhile, Village Head Kamta Yadav has completely rejected these allegations, stating that he purchased the disputed land legally from the actual owner. According to him, the land mutation has been completed, and he is regularly paying taxes. The village head says that his opponent is trying to forcibly claim ownership of the land by creating fake documents from someone else.
Following this dispute, the opposing party also informed the media that they have submitted applications to the Circle Officer (CO) and the local police station, demanding an investigation and verification of the entire matter. They say that the truth will only come to light after an administrative inquiry. Meanwhile, village head Kamta Yadav alleges that some people are continuously harassing and intimidating him under the guise of administrative procedures. He stated that vandalizing the under-construction house, using abusive language, and issuing death threats are serious offenses. He has appealed to the administration for protection of his life and property.
