ONE KILLED, TWO INJURED

BHABHUA---------------------------Near the Karmanasa River on the Uttar Pradesh-Bihar border, a truck trailer loaded with gravel brushed against another truck trailer, resulting in the death of one person standing nearby and injuring two others. According to reports, the truck trailer was coming from Ahraura in Uttar Pradesh, carrying gravel into Bihar. The driver had stopped the vehicle near a hotel by the river to check the tires. At that moment, another trailer truck sped past, narrowly missing the parked vehicle. Amit Yadav, son of Ram Ashram Yadav, a resident of Dahla village in the Durgavati police station area, who was checking the tires, was struck by the passing trailer.  Two other villagers, Sheru Kumar and Vishal Kumar, were also injured while trying to escape. Amit Kumar succumbed to his injuries on the way to Chandauli, while the other two injured were treated by a doctor and allowed to return home. As soon as the news of the incident reached the villagers, the entire village was plunged into mourning. Amit Kumar was 21 years old and unmarried. After the post-mortem examination, the police handed over the body to the family, who then proceeded with the last rites.
