BUXAR------------------------Former Dumraon MLA Dr. Ajit Kumar Singh has once again launched a scathing attack on the government and the Election Commission, raising serious questions about Bihar's electoral system. He said that the way the current government was formed through deceit and force is being proven time and again by former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi himself. This is not just an allegation by an opposition leader, but a voice rising from within the corridors of power that is exposing the truth of democracy. The former MLA directly questioned which assembly constituency in Bihar had a fair election. Was the Dumraon election fair? He alleged that feudal forces, strengthening the capitalist system, influenced the election through money power and coercion, crushing the will of the people.

Former MLA Dr. Ajit Kumar Singh said that everyone in the entire region knows very well who the people of Dumraon wanted, but the bulldozer of power was unleashed on the will of the people. Referring to his tenure, the former MLA said that he has always linked politics with development. He continuously strived to bring projects like a medical college, bypass road, railway overbridge (ROB), and degree college to fruition. He clearly stated that the focus of his politics has been development, not caste, religion, or hatred. This is why, even though local BJP workers may politically oppose him, many workers of the ruling party have also appreciated the recommendations he made.

During his tenure, he did not allow a single poor person's home to be demolished. Taking a dig at the current situation, he said that the situation is now completely reversed. In Dumraon, there is no one left from the ruling party to listen to the poor. He asked, in a questioning tone, "Who will listen to the voices of the poor today?" Those in whose name the drum of democracy is beaten are the ones who are most neglected today. The former MLA said that the public is watching everything. Democracy cannot be suppressed by deceit and force for long. When the public's patience runs out, the foundations of the palaces of power are bound to shake. Our struggle against the neglect of the poor will continue.
