ARA------------------------A seminar was organized by the All India Jan Sangh at its Friends Colony office on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary. Presiding over the event, National President Acharya (Dr.) Bharatbhushan Pandey said that long years of subjugation had tarnished the prestige of India and Hinduism. At that time, the ever-shining light of India's cultural and philosophical glory manifested itself in the form of Swami Vivekananda, who provided the world with a new path of humanity, freedom, and spirituality. The Jan Sangh president said that Swami Vivekananda beautifully propagated the essence of all the Upanishads and the interpretations of Lord Adi Shankaracharya, thus proclaiming the greatness of Indian wisdom to the world. He awakened the soul of the nation within India and provided new inspiration for freedom. Acharya said that the younger generation receives inspiration for education, culture, strength, service, and spirituality from the life of Swami Vivekananda. He said that in Bengal, the fertile land that gave birth to many great men like Swami Vivekananda, Hindus are being massacred like carrots and radishes today. Swami Vivekananda called for the continuous creation of a just society and government so that everyone can live a life of happiness, self-respect, and freedom. District President Madheshwar Nath Pandey said that the younger generation should stay away from vices like drug abuse and obscene entertainment, and from anti-social elements, and instead engage in self-study and hard physical labor. National Executive Committee member Advocate Satyendra Narayan Singh said that the Jan Sangh is a torchbearer of Swami Vivekananda's ideals. Society should imbibe the life of such an inspiring personality, and especially the youth should be made aware of it. The program was conducted by Ram Prakash Pandey, the welcome address was given by Ajay Kumar Pathak, and the vote of thanks was given by Virendra Prasad Srivastava. On this occasion, Vishwanath Dubey, Tapeshwar Tiwari, Pintoo Singh, Nilesh Mishra, Mahendra Pandey, and Rang Bahadur, among other prominent people, shed light on the works and personality of Swami Vivekananda.
