The victim's grandmother broke down in tears in front of Superintendent of Police Shubham Arya, who had arrived to pacify the agitated villagers during the road blockade. Drowning in tears, the victim's grandmother told the SP, "Oh sir, they have completely ruined our honor. We are left with nothing. All our honor and prestige have been reduced to dust. How will we live now?" She gave a detailed account of the incident, pleaded for the family's safety, and demanded that the accused be given the harshest punishment as soon as possible. The grandmother said that dozens of girls from their village go to Kadsar to study every day. "If such incidents continue to happen, how will our daughters be safe?" she questioned. The victim's grandmother appealed to the SP for justice, saying that until the culprits are given strict punishment, the daughters of the family and the village will not feel safe.
Former MLA Ajit Kushwaha, who was leading the road blockade, strongly condemned the incident, calling it a heinous crime. He said that such a shameful incident had never happened in this area before, which has caused outrage throughout the region. The former MLA targeted the state government, saying that on one hand, the Home Minister talks about taking strict action against criminals and mafia, but the ground reality is completely the opposite. He alleged that law and order in the state has completely collapsed and daughters are not safe anywhere. Ajit Kushwaha demanded that a case be registered against the accused under the POCSO Act to ensure swift justice for the victim. He also demanded that a speedy trial be conducted to ensure that the perpetrators receive strict punishment as soon as possible, in order to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
